GT Parent Forum: Acceleration - April 2026

Please join us for a parent forum focused on Acceleration for Gifted Students. Principal of Hulstrom K-8 Magnet School, Dr. Colleen Urlik, will present on the different types of academic acceleration and how it can look in the classroom. Then Director of Adams 12 Advanced Academic and Gifted Services, Dr. Lynn Saltzgaver, will speak about the specific process in place at the district for grade-level or subject acceleration. Parents will then have a chance to ask questions and hear from other parents who have accelerated their students.
